Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & People Development

  • Lead a team of electrical engineers, design specialists, and project engineers.

  • Develop team capabilities through mentoring, training, and knowledge transfer.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and adherence to engineering standards.

  • Electrical Engineering Design & Development

  • Oversee the design, development, and optimization of electrical systems, including power distribution, motor control, drives, sensors, and instrumentation.

  • Ensure designs are robust, energy-efficient, and compliant with safety standards.
  • Lead electrical R&D initiatives for advanced systems and new technologies.

  • Standardization & Compliance

  • Develop, implement, and enforce electrical engineering standards, specifications, and documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with international electrical standards (IEC, NEC, NFPA, ISO) and safety regulations.
  • Standardize procurement, installation, and maintenance practices to reduce lifecycle costs and improve reliability.

  • Innovation & Development

  • Research and deploy innovative electrical solutions such as energy optimization, renewable integration, predictive maintenance, and smart grid technologies.

  • Collaborate with R&D, digital, and automation teams to enable Industry 4.0 initiatives.
  • Pilot and scale new technologies that improve operational efficiency, safety, and sustainability.

  • Project & Lifecycle Management

  • Lead electrical engineering projects from concept to commissioning.

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Monitor system performance and implement continuous improvement strategies.

  • Financial & Business Impact

  • Develop and manage section CAPEX and OPEX budgets.

  • Deliver measurable cost savings, energy efficiency gains, and performance improvements.
  • Align electrical engineering initiatives with strategic business objectives.

  • Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Collaborate with mechanical, automation, production, and maintenance teams.

  • Manage relationships with electrical component suppliers, OEMs, and service providers.
  • Represent the company in electrical engineering forums, regulatory bodies, and standardization committees.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in electrical engineering, with 4-5 years in managerial or leadership roles.
  • Proven experience in standardization, project management, and electrical system innovation.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) / Chartered Engineer (CEng) license.
  • Project Management (PMP/PRINCE2).
  • Functional Safety Certification (TÜV, IEC 61508 / ISO
  • Energy Management / Sustainability Certification
