The role

CDG Group is seeking a talented Application Developer to join our dynamic team on a contract basis. As an Application Developer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and implementation of innovative software solutions that drive our business forward. Key responsibilities

  1. Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient software applications
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and deliver solutions that meet business needs
  3. Write clean, well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards
  4. Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, code reviews, and project retrospectives
  5. Troubleshoot and debug issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, methodologies, and industry trends to continuously improve and enhance our software solutions

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  2. 3+ years of experience in application development, preferably in a fast-paced, agile environment
  3. Proficient in at least one modern programming language, such as Java, Python, or C#
  4. Hands-on experience with web application development using frameworks like React, Angular, or
  5. Understanding of database design, SQL, and ORM techniques
  6. Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, and continuous integration/deployment tools
  7. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  8. Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders
