Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for development of the new product, new packaging material / specification and trial report as per agreed project timeline.
  • Core Knowledge and practical applications in Flexible Packaging such as flexible pouch, pre-form pouch and filling machine operations.
  • Knowledge of rigid packaging material is a plus.
  • Lead packaging and process development activities, Packaging testing, Line trials, commissioning, Validation and start up.
  • Responsible for existing product improvement, alternative packaging material driven by cost efficiency and total delivery cost.
  • Conduct the industrial trial for the new product, new packaging material, alternative packaging material / specification to ensure the feasibility of the process.
  • Arrange product sample to laboratory, in process and approval.
  • Design experimentation for approval product.
  • Active involvement in reviewing & analyzing the performance of current / new products or process & then activity seeking solutions to optimize / improve these current / new products or processes.
  • Provide & seek ongoing feedback & direction as planned or unplanned changes occur that can impact the business.
  • Have to monitor, coordinate and control packaging development time path as agree timeline.
  • Work with the manufacturing team, procurement and supplier to ensure that material specified to give best packaging performance within the limit of acceptable cost.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in science or engineering (Ideally polymer, material or related fields)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in packaging field
  • Must be able to work staff
  • Strong leadership and good team player
  • Good English and Thai communication skills
  • Good Knowledge of ISO 9001, GMP, HACCP
  • Good project Management skills
  • Good Negotiation & problem-solving skills
