Report to: Admissions Manager

Position Summary

The Agent Manager is responsible for both the strategy and execution of building and developing the agent network with targeted countries, China, Japan, Korea and Vietnam in order to grow enrolments at school.

The Agent Manager will report to the Admissions Manager and work closely with the rest of the Senior Marketing and Communications Manager. This position will require the establishment and maintenance of strong working relationships with the administration, parents, community members, students, faculty, and staff, as well as agents and other external organizations related to the school.

Academic & Professional Qualifications

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Chinese
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a sales, marketing, customer service or related school role
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Communications, PR, or related field
  • Proven track record of sales achievement
  • Experience working in a dynamic and growing organization
  • Previous experience in an international school, student recruitment company or in educational setting is preferred

Agents Network

  • Develop the international recruitment strategy and plans together with the Admissions Manager and the Senior Marketing and Communications Manager focusing on targeted countries including but not limited to, Korea, China, Japan and Vietnam.
  • Execute the international recruitment plan for the recruitment of international students both through agents and directly with parents overseas.
  • Accurately maintain and update the pipeline and confirmed agent network via Hubspot.
  • Develop and execute an Asia Roadshow twice a year to targeted countries working with our marketing department and agent network to advertise.
  • Representing school overseas, including exhibition/fair attendance, visits to partner agencies and our Asia Roadshow.
  • Continue to develop and extend the agent network across Asia in targeted countries and beyond.
  • Manage the regular communication and training of the agent network including agent visits to school, monthly newsletters and up to date training on school USPs and other business units such as camps, housing, golf.
  • Conduct school tours for prospective families with a priority to agent families.
  • Support the application management of children from our agent network via Hubspot and Open Apply.
  • Monitor and evaluate yearly the performance of agents ensuring contracts are adhered to.
  • Work with our marketing department to ensure presentations, marketing materials and merchandise meet the needs of overseas events and the agent network.
  • Providing high-quality market intelligence, expert knowledge and data to inform the development of country strategies and to identify new business opportunities.
  • Managing recruitment activities within the agreed budget and deadlines.

Others

  • Support and attend all major school events and functions
  • Keep up-to-date with all aspects of day-to-day school logistics in order to respond to inquiries from prospective parents, e.g. the curriculum, after school activities, buses and uniform, etc.
  • Provide an impeccable customer experience from first point of contact to end of journey
  • Support and help oversee the development of the school's Chinese social media channels such as WeChat
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Senior Admissions Manager and/or Marketing & Admissions Alignment Director
  • Please note that the post holder may be required to work outside of normal school-working hours for school events, meetings or completing time sensitive operations
