Executive & Project Support Specialist

Job Overview

We are currently seeking a highly competent Executive & Project Support Specialist (Senior Executive to Assistant Manager level) to join our team. This role places Thai-Chinese translation at its core, requiring proficiency in both languages to facilitate smooth communication across various business scenarios. Additionally, a solid understanding of resource management and business negotiation is essential to support the efficient operation of daily work and project coordination. The ideal candidate will play a key role in bridging communication gaps, assisting with executive tasks, and ensuring seamless collaboration between internal teams and external stakeholders, especially in relation to projects in Chonburi.

Key Responsibilities

1. Thai-Chinese Translation & Interpretation: Provide accurate and timely translation (written and oral) between Thai and Chinese for internal documents, meeting minutes, business communications, and on-site project discussions. Ensure the integrity and clarity of information to avoid misunderstandings.
2. Executive & Office Support: Assist executives with daily administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, organizing documents, and coordinating internal/external communications. Collaborate with the clerical team to support text summarization work (though this is a secondary priority, basic text organization skills are preferred).
3. Resource & Business Negotiation Assistance: Leverage knowledge of resource management and business negotiation to support team efforts in vendor communication, contract discussions, and resource allocation. Provide insights into Thai local business practices to optimize negotiation outcomes.
4. On-site Project Coordination: Conduct regular on-site visits to the Chonburi project location to coordinate and resolve engineering-related issues. Maintain effective communication with on-site teams and report progress to relevant stakeholders.
5. External Communication & Relationship Building: Represent the company in external communications with partners, local authorities, and other relevant parties in Thailand. Build and maintain positive working relationships to support business objectives.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field (e.g., Languages, Business Administration, International Business).
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in a large enterprise, preferably in a support, administrative, or project-related role.
• Proven experience in cross-cultural communication, with strong ability to understand and convey complex information effectively between Chinese and Thai stakeholders.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a friendly, approachable demeanor and the ability to work well with diverse teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive attitude towards work.
• Willing to work long-term overtime and conduct external fieldwork as required. Regular travel to the Chonburi project site is a must, and flexibility in working hours to meet project deadlines is essential.
• Fluent in both spoken and written Thai and Chinese; proficiency in English is a plus.
• Basic text summarization and document organization skills are preferred (though a dedicated clerical team will handle primary text work).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic office software.
• Knowledge of engineering project coordination or relevant industry experience (e.g., construction, manufacturing) is an advantage.
