Job Summary
You will help drive global and local transformation and operational projects across countries in the region. General Responsibilities
- Independently manage the execution of transformation and continuous improvement projects and initiatives across different markets in the region
- Analyze processes, collect data and information, and collaborate with others to find solutions for complex business problems
- Ensure implementation of agreed actions and solutions, monitor adherence to agreed timelines, costs and quality standards to realize targeted benefits
- Support the design and implementation of global Transformation and Operational Excellence projects and initiatives
- Act as the regional champion for all Operational Excellence initiatives
- Build Continuous Improvement capabilities in markets: training and coaching local Operations teams and other relevant Functions
- Manage stakeholders up to Executive Team
- Take a leading role in change management and communicate for buy-in
Functional Skills and Knowledge
- Strong analytical & problem solving skills
- Experienced in process improvement (and digitization)
- Certified Continuous Improvement practitioner (LEAN / Six Sigma green belt or higher)
- Familiar with SAP processes and functionality
- Good understanding of business acumen
- Excellent in project and change management
- (Specialty) Chemicals and/or Logistics & Distribution industry experience is a plus
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- A minimum of 6 - 7 years working experience in a comparable role in a corporate or consulting environment.
Education
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in business administration, industrial engineering, strategic management or a related field
