  • Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of organization, establish work schedules and procedures, resolve work related issues, prepare and submit progress
  • Negotiate freight rates with shipping companies and freight forwarders
  • Prepares contract agreements
  • Receive bill of lading and verifying against packing slip and purchase orders
  • Prepare documents: invoice, packing list, bill of lading, and other documents related to shipping
  • Track shipment
  • Ensures proper documentation, including transit documents and customs clearances, exists for shipments
  • Ensures documentation is accurately processed, distributed and released to carriers, forwarders, customers and agents in timely manners
  • Notify/inform person who made the purchase order their order has arrived
  • Other tasks as assigned
