Thales has been present in Thailand since the early 1990s, opening its first representative office in Bangkok in 2005. Today, Thales Thailand employs 45 people, and has numerous programmes and achievements to its name in both the civil and defence sectors. The Group is a long-term strategic supplier of defence systems for the Royal Thai Army and Navy. In aerospace, Thales plays a key strategic role, delivering country-wide solutions to Thai customers in the area of air traffic management, radars and navigation aids. Thales is supplying ground transportation solutions to the main and urban rail lines in the area of signalling and fare collection.
**Main Responsibilities**
- To perform and support Human Resources related activities ranging from Compensation and Benefits, Recruitment, Employee Relations, and other HR administrative tasks as required.
**Compensation and Benefit**
- Execute the payroll end-to-end process in accordance to statutory requirements and company guidelines.
- Maintain Employee Records, Personal data, and Human Resources database.
- Keep Up-to-Date Organization Structure, Job grade, Salary Structure.
- Ensure correctness on Sales and Commission before pay.
- Arrange Administrative activities related to welfare and benefits coordination.
- Handles administration of leave, time management, benefits, claims, audits, statutory submissions and reports.
- Attend to staff queries on all payroll matters.
- Compile statistics and generate HR related reports.
- Participate in HR payroll related projects / tasks.
**Recruitment**
- To support Employer’s Branding initiatives ranging from conceptualization, implementation, and executions. The activities include:
- Initiate Recruitment Channels to attract and recruit.
- Utilize Social Media e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn.
- Penetrate other Recruitment channels e.g., University Campus Recruitment, Recruitment Roadshow, and referral programs.
- Referral program.
- Be responsible for cyclical reports (weekly, monthly, annually), presentations, and data management to Management Team, Line Manager, and relevant employees.
- Checking out the references of job applicants
**Employee Relations (Daily Operations)**
- Handle disciplinary action and process all required documents.
- Maintain good relationships with external communities and other related stakeholders.
- Be first point of contact for Employees in HR matters
- Support People activities and occasionally participate in Seminar Trip and Booth to understand more on Business and People.
- Raise people issues to Management. Show facts and evidence-based data for people process and morale improvement to support Employee Retention.
- Coordinate and manage the orientation of new employees, process probationary reviews, employee evaluations and terminations.
- Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as transfers, performance appraisals, disciplinary record, and absenteeism rates.
- To proceed and submit the required employment report or related documents for yearly updating employment database to Labor Department
