**JOB TITLE: Sr. Manager - Subcontracts**

Strategic leadership role and responsibility of managing the Subcontract Management function with the allocated resources covering activities related to Proposal Stage Construction Cost Estimates, Project stage Awards of Subcontracts and Post Award Subcontracts Management on Project Sites.
Sr Subcontract Manager may be responsible for multiple Proposals and Project Awards or located on Project Sites leading post award administration life cycle of activities.
Director Subcontracts may be located in Home Office and be responsible for a number of Proposals or Projects simultaneously. Key expected responsibilities include:

- Overseeing the Subcontracts from a Commercial Lumpsum turnkey EPC perspective, having a holistic view of the objectives and expected outcomes of the departments and the projects.
- Complete understanding and driving implementations of Functional Procedures and Forms in Departmental Quality Management System.
- Strong initiative to digitalize processes and operate on company portal and platforms like SCMS (Subcontracts Construction Management System), Compliance & Financial Due diligence platforms, Company ERP system, Site Admin Work-book packages.
- Fully aligned with all stakeholders w.r.t Subcontracting strategy, Functional Subcontracting procedures and process compliance, Quality Assurance, Team selection & building and Departmental/functional KPIs and milestones.
- Strong interface management cross functionally setting example and facilitating smooth exchange of deliverables at operating levels.
- Drive and Ensure Functional Assurance of the departments through process and procedures, resources, systems, tools, leadership, controls and audit mechanism.
- Develop and drive implementation and achievement of Departmental KPIs, periodically report and improve departmental performance and delivery assurance criteria.
- Fully understand and participate as required in primary duties of Manager / Dy Manager Subcontracts and guide them towards expected successful score-card based outcomes.
- Visionary with respect to lessons learnt, innovative ideas and improving processes and productivity.
- Manage and guide team on all aspects of proposals estimates, competitive awards, post award commercial matters emphasizing on strategy formulation, negotiations, productivity, bench marking prices, Change management principles, Claims analysis and Dispute management.
- Proactively work with each project to understand current commercial issues and provide guidance and direction on commercial matters to achieve a satisfactory resolution of issues.
- Participate and lead where applicable in the Risk and Opportunity review process including, identification, mitigation and management of contractual/legal risks.
- Ensure team has clear roles, responsibilities, accountability and established authority levels.
- Encourage and implement digitalization of functional processes and embrace changing work environments and techniques.

**ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS**:
**A graduate / Masters university degree in Engineering Business Administration or Contracts.**
** **Experience in Proposal Tendering and finalization of Subcontracts, and Post award administration and management of Subcontractors.
 Have substantial experience in International markets with some in the UAE/GCC markets preferable.
 Exposure / Experience of Onshore Project Site Construction is essential.
 Exposure / Experience of Offshore Industry, Modularization will be an advantage.
 Possess good dispute resolution and claim management experience.
 Able to build and maintain effective working relationships with Subcontractors, Partners and Company staff.
 Must be able to inspire and motivate people to drive the business forward and achieve Company goals.
 Has good organizational skills and, particularly, spatial judgement and wider spectrum for
