Offshore senior Production Operator

Job Description:
Our client is a Leader of production and operation in oil and gas, they are looking for a contractor 3 years in **Senior Production Operator**, working as a rotation: in Gulf of Thailand.

**Responsibilities**:

- _ _Monitor plant operations on site which includes to accommodate fluctuations in operations,_report to Supervisor any abnormalities and discrepancies or defects on equipment, instruments or any anomalies such defective and/ or corroded piping, structure or equipment for further rectification_
- _ _Open and shut various valves manually. Start and stop pumps and rotating equipment in accordance with set procedures and Supervisor’s instructions. _
- _ Perform normal routine and specific work i.e. pigging operation, ESD testing, etc. on the remote platform, troubleshoot, start up and shut down according to Panel Operators and/ or Supervisor’s instructions including following sequential procedure of opening/closing valves and associated equipment. _
- _ Control work permit and activities on remote platform on behalf of Production Supervisor including other specific jobs such hook-up commissioning, well operation, construction work _
- _ Carry out routine checks of plant operating conditions in accordance with set schedules including taking samples, recording, reading, checking running conditions of various equipment, etc. _
- _ Carry out plant housekeeping and minor frontline maintenance as required e.g. greasing, cleaning, and fixing or replacing minor parts on plant and equipment which knowledge and competence to perform. _
- _ Examine daily log-sheets and highlight any anomalies observed. _
- _ Be able to operate central complex and remote wellhead platforms by HMI, DCS and SCADA systems. _
- _ Coach Operators/ new Operators and provide supervision and assistance to them during routine and non-routine operation. _
- _ Regularly perform ESD testing and ensure, when working on remote platform, that safety shut-down system is in good working order according to schedules. _
- _Perform work activities in conformance to hygiene policy and concern e.g. sea line batch treatment, pig recovery, filter change over, and keep high contaminated area on platform clean. _
- _ Assist to perform specific work i.e. intelligent pigging operation, filter change over, process field trail test. _
- _ Perform other similar or related duties such as ensuring an adequate supply of consumable on site, observing all SSHE rules and regulations, maintaining basic files and records, etc. _
- _Refill chemical tanks as required and monitor the injections at specified rates. _
- _ Perform booster compressor stop/ start/ running operation and front-line maintenance as instructed by Supervisor._
- _ Take all appropriate actions and steps in case of emergency according to Production Team Leader and Production Supervisor’s instructions. _
- _ Comply with and promote the Company’s SSHE policy, rules and regulations for all work under responsibility._
- _ Additional responsibilities which are depending on field work_
- _ Be able to operate central complex and remote wellhead platforms by DCS and SCADA systems. _
- _ Operate according to situations arising at various stages, various control in struments, regulating power, flows, temperature, pressures, etc. to achieve daily production target at maximum utilization of available resources. _
- _ Maintain all control activities on Production Platform, Quarter Platform and Wellhead Platforms. Be involved in control and administration of plant work permit procedure. _
- _ Operate from the control room’s operator workstation, OWS, the overall control system (process control system, emergency shutdown, and fire & gas system). Regularly check and ensure that they are functioned correctly and safely. _
- _ Provide work direction and assistance to process and utilities operators. Ensure that they are in compliance with Company SSHE rules and regulations. _
- _ Record a range of data on daily log-sheets at pre-determines intervals, make calculations and record details. _
- _ Prepare daily production reports on plant and well performance. Indicate well parameters, any work carried out on well, etc. and ensure an efficient filing of all recorded data. _
- _ Report unplanned operational deviations to Supervisor and take corrective action where these fall within his scope and competence. _
- _ Report to Supervisor any discrepancies or defects on equipment and/ or instruments. _
- _ Carry out all necessary inhibition of element/ system when required (through work permit) and keep accurate log status of the plant at all times. _
- _Perform other related duties such as reporting malfunction of consoles equipment, maintaining the control room area in a clean and tidy condition._
- _ Operate and control plant condition to meet production target as per product specification. _
- _ Monitor the EWRS (AIS) system and report suspected Intruders. _
