Job Description:
Our client is a Leader of the production and operation in the oil and gas, they are looking for a contractor 3 years in “Chief Officer (FSO)”, working as a rotation: in the Gulf of Thailand.

**Responsibilities**:

- _Supervise and coordinate all condensate receiving, storage and offloading, metering, tank cleaning, and all maintenance activities of the deck machinery onboard._
- _ Always maintain and ensure the stability and the safe mooring of the FSO2. Monitor hull stresses (bending moments and shear stress) within the allowable limit. Submit a plan of ship condition to Barge Master for approval prior to commencement of work._
- _ Ensure that the inert gas network system on deck, the fire and gas system, the firefighting system, the lifeboats, and all safety and deck equipment are available, well maintained, certified, and serviceable. Also always ensure safe tank atmospheres._
- _ Ensure that the mooring & offloading equipment for shuttle tanker such as hawser, offloading hoses, and for supply boat such as fuel oil & produce water transfer are available, well maintained, certified, and serviceable._
- _ Assist Barge Master in the unmanning of the FSO2 and its abandonment upon Typhoon alerts. Prepare tank planning to ensure that condensate production continues after unmanning and that it resumes quickly upon re-manning, as per set-up procedures._
- _ Carry out personnel on board (POB) control of the crew and passengers on FSO2 including supervision of catering and laundry services._
- _ Comply with and promote the Company’s SSHE policy, rules, and regulations to all work under the responsibility._
- _ In case of emergency arising or ship’s abandon, directly report to Barge Master (FSO), and be in charge of command team in FSO2 CCR to assist Barge Master (Emergency Commander) to direct Intervention Teams and First Aid Team._

**Qualifications**:

- _Thai nationality only._
- _ Possess STCW 2010 Certificate of Competency of “Master Mariner Class 1” or “Chief Mate on ship of 3,000 gross tonnage or more” with IMO endorsement for dangerous goods._
- _ Attended all compulsory courses needed by STCW 2010 convention._
- _ Strong marine background at chief officer level in inert gas tankers and COW system._
- _ 2 years experience in tanker operations as a deck officer in inert gas tankers and COW system._
- _ Previous FSO2 experience is an advantage._
- _ Technical background in mechanics, hydraulics, electricity, control systems is required to supervise operations and maintenance of FSO2._
- _ Good command of both spoken and written English._
- _ Computer skill is required._

**Certificate Requirements**:

- _Valid Certificate of Tropical Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training or _
- _Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training (BOSIET) or Tropical Further Offshore Emergency Training (TFOET) or Further Offshore Emergency Training (FOET)._
- _ Valid medical reports with fit-to-work results._
- _ The above-mentioned certificates on minimum requirements section_
- _ Basic Fire Fighting Training_
- _ Basic First Aid Training_
- _ Safety Officer Supervisor Level (_จบ หัวหน้างาน)_
- _ Confined Space Entry & Breathing Apparatus Training_
- _ Boiler & Pressure Vessel Operations Safety_
