Job Description:
Our client is a Leader of the production and operation in the oil and gas, they are looking for a contractor 3 years in “Engine Room Helper (FSO)”, working as a rotation: in the Gulf of Thailand.

**Responsibilities**:

- _Work in coordination with Technician, Mechanical/Electrical and Instrument for machinery maintenance._
- _ Work as watchkeeping duty for 12 hours/ day to monitor machinery performance and complete log sheet._
- _ Assist Deck team on night patrolling for FSO2 safety and security and IG pressure tanks bleed off._
- _ Assist Deck team on lifting operation during the night._
- _ Keep engine room, workshop and spare part room cleanliness and tidiness at all times._
- _ Assist in fuel oil bunkering and transferring to supply boat._
- _ Comply with and promote the Company’s SSHE policy, rules, and regulations to all work under responsibility._
- _ Be a member of firefighting team, oil spill clean-up team and lifeboat evacuation team._
- _ Be a rescue team member when perform rescue in confine space in engine room area._

**Qualifications**:

- _Thai national only._
- _ Technical Vocation or equivalent Certificate._
- _ Possess STCW 2010 Certificate of Proficiency Rating Forming part of Engine Watch. _
- _Hold Certificate of Endorsement “valid for service in Oil Tankers” is preferable._
- _ Attended all compulsory courses needed by STCW 2010 convention._
- _ Minimum 1 year of experience as Engine Rating on Marine vessels._
- _ Experiences in oil tanker or offshore field is an advantage._
- _ Fair command of both spoken and written English._

**Certificate Requirements**:

- _Valid Certificate of Tropical Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training or Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training (BOSIET) or Tropical Further Offshore Emergency Training (TFOET) or Further Offshore Emergency Training (FOET)._
- _ Valid medical reports with fit-to-work results._
- _ The above-mentioned certificates on minimum requirements section_
- _ Basic Fire Fighting Training._
- _ Basic First Aid Training._
- _ Rigging Slinging & Lifting Training._
- _ Confined Space Entry & Breathing Apparatus Training._
- _ Boiler & Pressure Vessel Operations Safety._
