As the Senior Manager Data Protection and Digital Risk at Minor Hotels, your role is to oversee the data protection and risk program for the digital business, with a specific emphasis on Data Privacy, Digital Systems, and Payments. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will be instrumental in developing and advocating for the responsible use of data and digital assets, while simultaneously prioritising commercial interests and goals.

This role demands a dynamic individual capable of navigating the complex landscape of data privacy, digital risk, and digital payments, driving initiatives that align with the strategic objectives of Minor Hotels in the digital realm.
- Oversee the Data Protection Program and Digital Risk Management within the Hotel Group.
- Guide Business Units for compliance with data protection laws, digital risk compliance requirements and regulations related to digital payments.
- Act as a central point of contact within your Group for all data protection, digital risk, and digital payment matters and inquiries.
- Investigate and mitigate risks associated with data protection, digital risk, and payments.
- Align direction with the Data Protection Office regarding the Data Protection Program and Digital Risk Management.
- Communicate progress and escalate challenges to the Data Protection Office.
- Provide support and cooperation to the Data Protection Office in inquiries from data supervisory authorities.
- Ensure timely, on-scope, and quality delivery of the Data Protection and Digital Risk Programs.
- Maintain and update Records of Processing Activities (RoPAs) where needed.
- Roll out and maintain documents related to personal data, such as privacy statements, consent forms, Data Processing Agreement (DPAs), Data Sharing Agreement (DSAs), policies, and procedures.
- Initiate and/or update drafts of documents related to data protection, digital risk, and payments for legal review.
- Initiate, maintain, review, and adjust security measures for personal data and digital assets.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity and data operations teams to ensure controls are in place for data protection, digital systems, and digital payments.
- Oversee compliance with regulations and standards related to data protection.
- Ensure proper handling and protection of personal data in adherence to relevant laws and policies.
- Be extensively equipped with knowledge of data protection laws, digital risk management, and digital payments.
- Provide support on training contents to the Data Protection Office.
- Coordinate with HR to roll out relevant training programs within the Hotel Group.
- Support and promote the use of data to enhance Business Units' performance, both top line and bottom line

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Legal or related field.
- Demonstrated experience in managing data protection and digital risk management.
- Prior experience in the hotel or travel industry is highly desirable.
- Fluency in both written and verbal English is essential. Proficiency in spoken and written Thai is preferred.
- Ability to thrive and excel in an international business environment.
- Possesses or willing to obtain certifications in data privacy such as IAPP CIPM, CIPP/E, or CIPT. Certification in risk management, such as ISACA CRISC, is a plus.
- Proven experience working with a broad range of stakeholders. Capability in running workshops and effectively managing teams.
- Extensive experience in defining, designing, and implementing policies, standards, guidelines, tools, metrics, and practices for data protection and digital risk.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of successful implementations.
- Ability to work well under pressure. Effectively handle multiple, concurrent demands and appropriately prioritize responsibilities.

Strong analytical skills are a must, demonstrating the ability to interpret complex information and make sound decisions.
