**Job description** About the job**
Together with the Human Resource Manager you will build a stable and solid HR foundation with well-defined HR processes and create an environment where the IKEA culture & values is a strong and living reality. IKEA Sukhumvit will be our 4th store in Thailand and part of The Emsphere retail development on Sukhumvit Road in Bangkok.

**Your assignment**
- You support and guide in the value-driven recruitment and introduction process.
- You ensure that all our work processes follow company guidelines, national legislation and other applicable regulations.
- You ensure that the store uses HR data to enable better management of all human resource related processes.
- Provide HR support and advice to co-workers and managers that helps building the pipeline of internal talent according to agreed succession plan.
- You help ensuring that the store has a systematic approach to learning and development.
- You ensure staff recruitment costs and salaries costs are in line with set targets as set in the budget.
- You handle employee grievances and disciplinary matters in an effective and efficient manner so as to preserve good employee relations.
- You ensure that payroll, timekeeping / attendance and staff planning work in a timely and efficient way.

**Qualification**
- You have relevant working experience in Human Resources, preferably in retail.
- You are people-oriented and have good working knowledge of the local laws and regulations, labour market trends and HR best practices.
- A team player, you enjoy sharing knowledge and building good working relationships at all levels.
- Understand and buy into company culture and values.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- You are fluent in Thai with good command of the English language.
