**Nice to know**:
Accounting Manager leads a team of professional accountants for EssilorLuxottica activities (Mass production, RX, Frames and Consignment) amongst different Thai industrial zones (Latkrabang, Amata and Rayong). Accounting Manager is responsible for managing the local country statutory books compliance and archives process. This position also oversees the month end closing and yearly submission related to statutory financial statements including periodic assets scrapping and counting process. Accounting Manager will also lead year-end audits, internal audit and follow up the internal procedures to ensure the compliance of internal controls and processes with local and IFRS standards. He or she will be the primary response to local authorities regarding accounting and statutory matters.

**Your day at EssilorLuxottica**:
Accounting topics related to all factories in Thailand (4 Factories) on following topics:

- Managing the statutory & archives team of Thailand Expertise Center.
- Checking the consistency and accuracy of payables, receivables, fixed assets, general ledger and statutory books with legal and Group requirements.
- Validating the completeness and accuracy of the month end closing and yearly submission related to statutory financial statements, including JV validation and posting process.
- Coordinating with Group Business Service (GBS) in China on payables, receivables and GL related matters including the supporting documents submission and the monthly reconciliation process.
- Preparing and reviewing finance and accounting reports for local plant analysis and Group consolidation; analytical review of the actual P&L and BS.
- Validating Figures reporting related to payables, receivables, fixed assets and general ledger accounts in Hyperion Sustainability.
- Coordinating with Group Consolidation on finance and accounting related matters.
- Providing guidance for payables, receivables, assets and transfer pricing archives and documentation.
- Ensuring coherence between the data used by Financial Planning and Ananlysis sections and the legal books of accounts.
- Organize periodic fixed assets physical counting as per local and Group standards requirement.
- Managing the fixed assets scrapping process with stakeholders and external audits.
- Participating in the annual budgeting exercise and forecasting related to finance and accounting functions.
- Ensuring that finance and accounting processes are in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Managing finance and accounting related internal controls to ensure the compliance with the requirement of local and IFRS standards.
- Coordinating with Accounting Auditor and Revenue Department regarding statutory and accounting compliance matters.
- Proposing process / systems improvements required to ensure all of above
- Responsible for implementation of company policies and procedures in their area of work, and with their subordinate (Where applicable)

**Must have**:

- Bachelor degree or Higher in Accounting or Finance, CPA certificate is preferred
- Expert knowledge of basic accounting standard (Local GAAP and IFRS)
- Good knowledge in accounting and local tax law (especially statutory related)
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- MS Applications skill i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.
- Excellent knowledge in submodules of Oracle / SAP.
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
