**ROLE SUMMARY**

As an Accounting and Finance lead in the country who is responsible for overall Accounting, Finance and Administrative functions. This role requires hands-on approach, time management skills and self-driven motivation. Interpersonal skills are also vital to handle different stakeholders within and outside the subsidiary. The ability to make things happen positively in the given timeline with sense of urgency would be the key success factors for the role.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- To supervise all Finance & Accounting processes (Global & Local) and implement Group Accounting policy. Supervision and coordination of external accounting resources and full Ownership over the Monthly Closing process and deadlines
- Control and secure following the local legislation on statutory accounts, company fillings and any form of taxes on due dates and in compliance with legal framework of Thailand.
- Manage the cash flow and working capital of the subsidiary. Prepare Monthly Cash flow forecast for the Thailand subsidiary.
- Deliver to Local management appropriate Financial information and business support to take decisions
- Ensuring high quality and compliance from a financial perspective for the local legal entity
- Resolving any accounting or reporting issues and escalating any issues to the regional CFO when necessary
- Responsible for the monthly, quarterly and annual numbers & all monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Supporting the Country Manager and local team by providing them with regular performance and financial insights
- Engaging with Regional FP&A and regional CFO when relevant, using their guidance to produce a bottom-up budget and forecast plus commentary
- Managing the Risk register, supporting internal audits and the Control Framework, working in a matrix with Group Internal Audit and Group Compliance to achieve this. Report results, internal control issues (ICS) and Financing requirements to regional CFO and HQ Controlling team
- Working in partnership with the group finance systems team to ensure that the ERP and any other underlying accounting packages used are used appropriately
Ownership over Administrative and Collection functions and overseeing the performance of Administrative Executive
- Handling of Company trade registration (DBD) records and necessary changes, by engaging Company Secretary Services providers
- Managing Local Statutory annual audits of financial statements

**QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS**
- BA degree with major in Accounting/Finance/General management
- Hands-on, proactive, positive. Takes initiative in problems solving and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Previous experience of at least 3 years in a Senior Accounting role (Senior accountant, Chief Accountant, Accounting manager in a commercial environment)
- Fluency in English - both spoken and written
- Proficiency in spreadsheets - Advanced Excel level
- Experience with Net Suite Oracle will be an advantage
