Internship: Fixed Asset Management Project

**Position: Intern Fixed Asset Management project**

**Responsibilities / Scope of Work**

**Document Preparation & Control**
- Collect/verify supporting documents: PO, GRN/goods received note, tax invoice/invoice, delivery/installation acceptance, contracts/warranties.
- Update the 'Fixed Asset Register (FA Register) completely: asset tag/ID, serial number, model, vendor, department/location, cost, and in-service date.

**Capitalization — Putting New Assets into the System**
- Assign asset class and useful life per company policy (e.g., HW/SW = 5 years).
- Determine depreciation start date and record in the system/template.Transfer AUC
- FA (clear 'CWIP') when complete evidence of use is available.
- Tag/barcode assets and map locations on the office floor plan after renovation.

**Movement Control During Renovation**
- Maintain an 'Asset Movement Log' for relocation/storage/re-installation, with photographic evidence.
- Perform pre
- and post-move counts and reconcile differences with the FA Register.

**Write-off / Disposal — Older Assets**
- Screen assets that are damaged/obsolete/missing and prepare a write-off pack (summary of cost - accumulated depreciation - net book value (NBV) - gain/loss on disposal).
- Prepare approval forms for write-off/sale/disposal and supporting disposal/sale/donation documents.
- Update systems/registers and prepare accounting & tax impact reports (attach supporting evidence).

**Reporting & Review (Controls)**
- Produce FA listing vs. actual count reports with explanations for variances and remediation actions.
- Reconcile FA sub-ledger to GL (monthly/quarterly) under mentor supervision.
- Prepare audit-ready files for Internal and External Audit.

**Learning Outcomes / What You Will Gain**

Hands-on experience with the full Fixed Assets cycle: AUC Capitalization Movement
- Write-off
- Practice within TFRS/IAS 16/38 frameworks and internal asset controls.
- Use real tools: Excel (basic Pivot / Power Query), ERP / FA module.
- Develop audit-quality document management and cross-team communication (Accounting / IT / Facility / Procurement).
- Understand accounting and tax impacts from acquisition, movement, and disposal of assets.
- Project experience (timelines, checkpoints, handover) plus internship certificate/reference.

**Qualifications**
- Detail-oriented, organized document management, and good communication skills.
- Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, PivotTables, checklist/validation skills).
- Basic English reading/writing to review vendor documents/specifications.

**Recommended Faculties / Majors**
- Commerce & Accountancy / Business Administration (Accounting/Finance) — core FA, depreciation, tax documents.
- Business Administration / Economics (Accounting Management / Accounting Information Systems) — internal control & data handling.

**Assignment Period**
- **_ January - April 2026_**

**Compensation**:

- Internship allowance: THB 500 per day (paid at the end of each month)

**หน้าที่และขอบเขตงาน (Responsibilities)**

1) เตรียมข้อมูล & ควบคุมเอกสาร
- รวบรวม/ตรวจสอบหลักฐาน: PO, GRN/ใบรับของ, ใบกำกับภาษี/ใบแจ้งหนี้, ใบรับส่งมอบ/ติดตั้ง, สัญญา/ใบรับประกัน
- อัปเดต Fixed Asset Register (FA Register) ให้ครบ: หมายเลขทรัพย์, Serial, รุ่น, ผู้ขาย, แผนก/สถานที่, ต้นทุน, วันที่เริ่มใช้งาน

2) Capitalization - นำสินทรัพย์ใหม่เข้าระบบ
- จัดคลาสสินทรัพย์ (asset class) และอายุการใช้งานตามนโยบายบริษัท (HW/SW 5 ปี)
- คำนวณค่าเสื่อมเริ่มต้น (depreciation start date) และบันทึกเข้าระบบ/เทมเพลต
- โอน AUC FA (clear CWIP) เมื่อมีหลักฐานใช้งานจริงครบถ้วน
- ติดแท็ก/บาร์โค้ด และ mapping ตำแหน่งในผังสำนักงานหลัง renovate

3) Movement Control ระหว่าง Renovation
- ทำ Asset Movement Log: ย้าย/เก็บ/ติดตั้งใหม่ พร้อมถ่ายภาพยืนยัน
- ตรวจนับก่อน-หลังย้าย (pre/post count) และทำ reconciliation กับ FA Register

4) Write-off / Disposal - สินทรัพย์เก่า
- คัดกรองทรัพย์ที่ชำรุด/ล้าสมัย/สูญหาย และจัดทำ Write-off Pack

(สรุปต้นทุน-ค่าเสื่อมสะสม-มูลค่าสุทธิ (NBV)-ผลกำไร/ขาดทุนจากจำหน่าย)
- เตรียมแบบฟอร์มอนุมัติ write-off/ขายทิ้ง + เอกสารกำจัด/การขาย/การบริจาค
- อัปเดตระบบ/เล่มทะเบียน และจัดทำรายงานผลกระทบบัญชี & ภาษี (แนบหลักฐาน)

5) รายงาน & ตรวจทาน (Controls & Reporting)
- ทำรายงาน FA Listing vs Actual Count พร้อมสาเหตุส่วนต่างและการแก้ไข
- กระทบยอด FA sub-ledger กับ GL (เดือน/ไตรมาส) ภายใต้กำกับของพี่เลี้ยง
- เตรียมเอกสารให้ตรวจสอบได้ (Audit-ready file) สำหรับ Internal/External Audit
