**Industry**: Hardware, Software, Consulting, Telecommunication - ** Job Description**: - Working within the APAC Legal and Compliance Team, but supporting the Thailand business, focusing on the execution of transactions and implementing global and regional compliance programs. - Ability to work across multiple jurisdictions (within APAC or global), supporting deal structuring, negotiating transaction documentation and transaction closings. - Overseeing all legal aspects of a transaction, including drafting and reviewing non - binding offers and letters of intent, tenders and contracting of all related agreements. - Engaging, instructing, and overseeing external counsel, when required, - Develop understanding of the Thailand as well as the larger APAC and global businesses at NTT DATA. - Acting as a bridge between the local business and the regional / global stakeholders to ensure business requirements and risks are taken into account and properly represented in negotiations of all transactions. - Coordinating and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to manage transactional matters across jurisdictions as well as advising senior management in the region and the headquarters (including Germany) on legal and business options / implication. - ** Requirement**: - Senior lawyer (6-8 years Post Qualification Experience) licensed to practice law in Thailand. - Extensive transactional corporate experience gained either at a reputable law firm and / or in-house, ideally with IT / outsourcing exposure. - Deep knowledge and experience in structuring, negotiating and executing transactions for customers and vendors. - Having a good handle on labour/employment issues, privacy, corporate compliance and general corporate advisory. - Strong commercial acumen, paired with effective communication skills including the ability to confidently influence internal and external stakeholders and explain decisions as needed. - Ability to cope with complex situations in a fast-changing environment and work well under pressure. - Flexible, adaptable.
