Job Detail
Main Purpose:

Handle conventional and renewable power development for commercial and industrial sectors, energy platform and solution in industrial estates as well as other related business that align with short to long-term strategy of GPSC.
- Handle greenfield and brownfield projects development for merger and acquisition, joint partnering, and divestments activities which align with business direction in Thailand.
- Work with teams to propose new business models and opportunities along the power business value chain to create new area of opportunities for sustainable expansion in Thailand.
- Develop network, working, liaising and communicating with government institutions and other stakeholders on regulation requirements for socio-economic, environmental, land acquisition, technical and other aspects necessary to facilitate project development.
- Identify all relevant and critical elements of projects under responsibility, including but not limited to analyze and select the best technical configurations, partners, contractors, that suitable for company’s strategies and customers’ needs.
- Identify key risk factors and propose mitigation plan of each project under responsibility from business development perspective and report to risk assessment meeting.
- Prepare all required project documents in compliance with applicable internal/external processes and regulations.
- Analyze financial projection, prepare, and monitor projects’ budgets, expenses as well as provide information to accommodate progress reports which may require.
- Coordinate projects under responsibility from feasibility study until COD to ensure the smooth development of the project within approved budget in timely manner.
- Complete other jobs as assigned by management

Salary

40,000 - 60,000 (THB)

Required work
experience
- Master’s degree in related field i.e. engineering (preferably Electrical, Mechanical or Process Engineering), MBA, or other related fields.
- At least 3-7 years working experience in the development of energy projects
- Experience in business transactions and project development of renewable energy and large-scale power projects
- Experience with technical, financial, economic, and legal aspects of business transactions
- Managerial role in energy business is a plus
- Background in feasibility study and due diligence process
- Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Good English with at least TOEIC scored 700
