Our client is a leading full-range info-logistics provider offering a comprehensive portfolio of air, sea, land transport, and warehousing services, with special expertise in information technology and supply chain optimization. As of 2021, they have over 140 offices in 40 countries across the globe to create fast and efficient solutions tailored to your needs. They are now looking for a "Trade Lane Development Manager" to grow their business. **Responsibilities**: - Generating new business on the assigned trade lane as per agreed targets. - Growing the assigned trade lane by supporting other sales (Global sales, Regional sales, local sales, overseas sales) on their customer opportunities. - Being responsible for the joint sales calls with sales locally & overseas. - Developing and executing a comprehensive route plan aimed at identifying the top regional/industry opportunities and expanding business to both new and existing accounts in cooperation with the product team. - Identifying, developing, and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers at all levels, shippers, consignees, carriers, product management, and overseas offices within the trade lane. - Performing all sales responsibilities for sales activity KPIs & system usage in line with the companies requirements. - Working with Procurement team for all modes of transport for pricing and costing strategy, carriers/airlines relations whenever necessary. **Requirements**: - Degree/College/Diploma holder in Business Administration/ Logistics/ Purchasing/ Operations Management or equivalent with over 5 years business development experiences of the industry. - Strong communication skills in term of English is a must and proficiency in Chinese is plus. - Proficient in computer operation (MS Word and Excel). - Knowledge of ocean carriers is a plus. - Excellent interpersonal and presentation. - Commercial thinking and solution selling mindset.
