Placement Support

This role will be responsible to provide services to brokers during Placement process, such as slips generation, quote comparison; and to brokers / clients for post bind / policy services such as policy check, documents filing and transmittal / delivery, etc.
**Main responsibilities**:
**Management**
- Ensure alignment and implementation between Placement Support & Policy Service Target Operating Model (TOM) within country’s practice
- Coordination with Regional Placement Support & Policy Service and Country O&T Leader
- Build and maintain relationship with all departments where the team supports
**Business as Usual**
- Deliver service as per agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA)
- Resolve escalated operational issue and work together with other value streams as needed
- Process standardization and measurement across different requestors from various departments. Document as a Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) and keep it updated
- Put appropriate control in each process to reduce E&O risk
- Look for continuous improvement opportunity to improve efficiency in Placement Support & Policy Service areas
- Oversee the following functions:
- Client Management, as per Target Operating Model
- Ensure new client data on boarded properly
- Liaise with offshore team as needed
- Placement Support
- Support brokers, especially for renewal, through various activities : renewal list / notice issuance, quotation slip issuance, placing slip issuance, quotation comparison, etc
- Policy Service
- Support brokers after a policy is bind through billing request, policy issuance tracking, insurance certificate issuance, policy check, filing, document receive & transmittal, etc
- To be the lead/owner for document management tool
**Change**
- Support Country O&T Leader in implementing change related to Placement Support & Policy Service area
**Talent**
- Performance management of Team Members
- Identify and develop key talents
- Prepare and maintain succession plan
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in Property Casualty insurance industry (insurer, broker, agency) with at least 5 years’ experience as a people manager
- Obtained experience in matrix reporting organization is preferred
- Experience in launching the new operating function
**Knowledge and skills**
- Familiar with various Property Casualty insurance products : Property, Motor, Marine Cargo, Liability, Financial Lines, etc
- Certification in General Insurance or Broker Insurance is a plus
- Good communication
- Customer oriented
- Able to interface with insurers, colleagues, and clients as needed
- Strong organization skills
- Has a good discipline, able to prioritize work, and meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
- Outlook, Excel, and Power Point
- Proficient in English both writing and oral
- Familiar with JIRA workflow tool
