We serve a large variety of end markets and our products can be found in thousands of consumer products around the world. These include Animal Nutrition, Biorefinery, Dietary Supplements, Beverage, Home Care, Microbial Control, Perfumery, Food, Personal Care, Pharma.

IFF is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Operations team as **Purchasing Manager**. This role is based in Thailand and will report to General Manger, The Mighty Co. Ltd.

**Your Focus**

As Purchasing Manager, you will manage purchasing activities at The Mighty Co.Ltd and work closely with plants to maintain and improve supply chain process in accordance to procurement, purchasing, supplier or vendor’s relationship building, leveraging material expenses.

**How You Will Contribute**
- Source and procure new and alternative suppliers or new ingredient items to support R&D and Operations teams
- Understand and handle qualifications new supplier processes
- Manage daily end-to-end purchasing process (issuing PO/ dealing with vendors) in order to get the right products and services at the right time and the right place
- Maintain contact with regular vendors as well as search for new vendors while performing negotiations for best prices under close supervision of procurement manager
- Communicate with vendors, suppliers for all necessary documents for new vendor approval process, and any other information, documents as additional requests from internal depts and external entities (i.e., gov. organizations, customers, etc.) to support company business
- Prepare information, reports for pre-assess or audit vendor upon request and/or plan from Quality Management
- Provide support for related documents for food safety audits

**Job Requirements**:
**What you will need to be successful**
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 2 - 5 years’ experience in procurement, purchasing and will be beneficial if in food ingredients or food-relating business in raw materials sourcing
- Well understand the food safety > GMP, HALAL, ISO22000, HACCP
- Competent in computer i.e. data-analysis, including advanced excel, MRP/ERP experiences
- Able to communicate English both written and spoken
- Able to work in team and independently
