**Responsibilities**
- Being responsible for the sourcing & purchasing of Direct Materials; raw material, commodity material as well as packaging material for the production of dairy products.
- Leveraging expertise and vision to deliver forward-thinking sourcing strategies that mitigate risk and capitalize on opportunities.
- Leading the sourcing process from supplier selection through the delivery of commodity materials, raw materials, and packaging materials and collaborating with stakeholders to maximize supplier relationships and drive improvements in total value.
- Supervising purchased functions, sourcing the competitive material, and managing contracts including administering, negotiating, reviewing, renewing, filing, and evaluating for availability, price, term, and quality of products.
- Handling the preparation of the budget, managing the cost for the company’s profit which align with the company’s budgeting, and ensuring compliance with the business requirement, Company policies, and regulations.
- Secure supply
- Securing supply both of material quality (meet the standard, specification), and sufficient volume for production’s plan with the cost-effectiveness.
- Sourcing material following high-quality suppliers (ISO Standard, HACCP, food safety certificate, accredited laboratory, environmental certificate, etc.).
- Managing the suppliers, and ensuring their performance aligns with the established requirements.
- Cost efficient
- Monitoring the cost, doing the trend analysis, and searching/finding the market trend.
- Analyzing the Cost and managing the budget.
- Initiate and development
- Initiating the new cost model/structure to gain cost avoidance, price purchasing variance, and identify opportunities for cost saving.
- Developing and implementing the purchasing strategies, improving the purchasing process plus the appropriate sustainable sourcing for each circumstance.
- Compliance ( in terms of sustainability & legal)
- Reviewing the purchase information, database, and purchase records (purchase orders, contract, etc.) to comply with procedures, and company policy and ensure the availability of documentation.
- Management
- Leading the daily purchasing activities, supervising staff, and allocating tasks.
- Consulting/Organizing the bidding process and contracts (e.g., preparing specifications, evaluating bids, recommending vendors, etc.).

**Qualifications**
- Education background in Food Science or related field is a must.
- 10 years of experience in Direct Raw Material sourcing & purchasing functions from food & beverage manufacturing companies with experience at the managerial level.
- Possess significant, proven experience leading commodity sourcing.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in Thai, and English.
- Excellent strategic planning with strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- SAP experience is a must as proficiency in Microsoft Office and related procurement software.
- Ability to continually evolve sourcing strategies and processes.
- Able to lead teams through times of change across the industry, global policies, and business and product strategies.
