**Weeden** - is a leading cannabis retail company in Thailand dedicated to providing high-quality products and exceptional customer experiences to cannabis enthusiasts. We are a cannabis retail chain with 15 dispensaries in Thailand ( 8 in Koh Samui and 7 in Phuket). With a focus on education, innovation, and community engagement, we aim to set the standard for excellence in the cannabis industry.
Our Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for providing visionary leadership, driving growth, and ensuring operational excellence in the rapidly evolving cannabis retail industry. Reporting to the Board of Directors, he will have the opportunity to shape the future of the company and make a significant impact on the cannabis market.
Location - Thailand, Headquarter for now is on Koh Samui, after full scale will be at main region - Bangkok
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Strategic Leadership**:_ Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan to drive growth, expand market share, and enhance brand recognition for Weeden as a leading player in the cannabis retail industry.
- **Business Development**_:_ Identify and pursue opportunities for expansion, including new store locations (up to 100 shops), strategic partnerships, and innovative product offerings, to capitalize on emerging trends and consumer preferences.
- **Operational Management**_: Oversee all aspects of retail operations, including inventory management, sales performance, customer service, compliance with regulations, and implementation of best practices to ensure a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience for customers.
- **Financial Performance**:_ Drive financial success by setting ambitious revenue targets (fully return the investment from company profit), managing expenses, and optimizing operational efficiency to maximize profitability and shareholder value.
- **Brand Development**:_ Develop and execute marketing and branding strategies to enhance brand awareness, differentiate Weeden from competitors, and build a loyal customer base.
- **Compliance and Regulatory Affairs**:_ Stay abreast of evolving cannabis regulations and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations at the local, state, and federal levels to protect the company's license and reputation.
- **Team Leadership**:_ Build and inspire a high-performing team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to employees across all levels of the organization, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- **Community Engagement**:_ Engage with local communities, industry stakeholders, and advocacy groups to promote responsible cannabis consumption, address concerns, and contribute to positive social impact initiatives.
**Qualifications**:
- Master's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- English B2
- Total business and management experience 10+ years (cannabis industry or retail sector) Offline retail business experience - 5+ years with a deep understanding of market dynamics, consumer behavior, and regulatory requirements
- C-level position 3+ years
- Proven experience in scaling the business in 6 times in shops and 10 times in revenue minimum under franchise partnerships own shops model
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, negotiate effectively, and represent the company with integrity and professionalism.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
