- Collaborate with all stakeholders / various departments to understand the company's strategies and priorities and provide top-notch legal support to protect and advance the company's interests.
- Draft, review, comment, and negotiate contracts (simple to complex) for various business needs, like service agreements or government contracts (such as service or supply contracts, purchase contracts, government contracts, sale agreements, partners or shareholder agreements, and other commercial agreements).
- Handle legal issues and provide advice in compliance with Thai laws, regulations, and policies, including those related to contracting, HR, and HSE/operational.
- Provide clear, timely, and relevant oral and written legal advice on contracts, rights, claims, lawsuits, and providing advice on new laws impacting the company to the clients.
- Interpret laws, develop legal strategies, and advocate for the best course of action.
- Be a reliable legal resource for project teams, advising on legal issues, contracts, policies, and claims.
- Advise and support on regulatory matters and manage and support emergency responses.
- Lead and manage legal disputes while overseeing external lawyers (outside counsel).
- Select, instruct, and manage external lawyers (outside counsel) efficiently, following company guidelines and managing/controlling budgets.
- Participate in implementing new legal initiatives and provide client training on legal aspects and compliance.
- Develop and update legal guidelines and policies, promoting a strong culture of compliance and maintaining the highest professional standards.
- Manage corporate governance matters and perform other assigned tasks.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree of Laws (L.L.B) or higher with minimum of 8 years post-qualification experience (PQE) with license to practice law in Thailand.
- Has experience with a multi-national company and/or an international law firm is a plus
- Has experience in oil and gas and/or retail would be an advantage
- Strong contract drafting and legal support skills, focused on quality, timeliness, and client needs.
- Ability to handle difficult/complex issues and tasks and manage a high volume of diverse legal matters.
- It is advantageous to have experience with corporate and commercial law matters, litigation, energy transition issues and leading significant transactions.
- A self-motivated and collaborative spirit, thriving in dynamic team environment.
- Extremely driven self-starter who thrives in fast-paced team settings and can work well with both internal and external business and legal partners.
- Demonstrates innovative thinking and come up with new, and practical problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a strong team-player attitude.
- High ethical standards and a commitment to confidentiality.
- A willingness to learn, take initiative, and adapt to new challenges for continuous growth.
- Strong communication skills (written and oral), both in Thai and English
