With strong organizational skills and a positive can-do attitude, the Accounting Associate is a trusted support professional who is responsible for performing daily finance and accounting, and taxation requirements. To be considered for this exciting and dynamic role, you will need experience within general finance and accounting, and taxation processes and have excellent communication skills to build relationships with internal teams and external customers. The Accounting Associate must be highly adaptable, have strong attention to details, and bias for action.

**Responsibilities**:

- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
- Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
- Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
- Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
- Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned
- Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
- Preparation and submission of tax reports for monthly, quarterly, and annual tax declarations
- Other duties and tasks that may be required and assigned from time to time by the immediate superior to achieve business goals

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- A solid understanding of finance and accounting principles and working and knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
- Professional qualification such as CPD/CPA or similar will be considered a plus
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally
- Proficient user of Microsoft Excel
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Fluent in English-
