R&d Manager

**Responsibilities**:
This role will drive Asia, ANZ BUs agenda including innovation, renovation and productivity, while serving as R&D Business interface by translating business needs into prototypes. In addition, this role will support strategic execution of APAC R&D Annual Operating Plan (AOP) as well as long term pipeline development. This role requires high communication skill to collaborate with other global R&D cross functional teams to deliver R&D deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Science or Engineering degree such as Food Science, Food Engineering
- 10+ years of relevant experience in R & D, Food Product Development and project management
- Demonstrated ability to translate business objectives into strategic and tactical project goals and objectives
- Able to collaborate and communicate across various stakeholders, influence decisions and persuade groups on direction
- Proven ability to manage multiple assignments/ tasks
- High attention to detail and organization skills, with ability to process information
- Strong English communication and presentation skills (oral and written).
- Proven ability to deconstruct development challenges and issues into fundamental problems, and propose solutions
- Self-starter, self-motivating - very high drive for results and able to deal with uncertainty and complexity
- Cultural sensitivity/flexibility in responding to different cultures
- Must be willing and able to travel up to 20% of the time
