The company focuses on delivering innovative and high-quality PPE to enhance worker safety and well-being.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and direct the initiation of all projects assigned to the module.
- Identify opportunities for product and process innovation and improvement.
- Plan and initiate short to medium-term technology exploration work.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional project teams, including marketing, manufacturing, outsourcing, finance, quality assurance, and regulatory representatives.
- Assist the Director of BU R&D in budget forecasting and implementation.
- Foster teamwork among Directors, Chemists, and Laboratory Technicians within the R&D Technologies Group.
- Ensure the implementation of Quality Systems and meet regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrate commitment to environmental protection by ensuring compliance with legal requirements and promoting pollution prevention practices.
- Stay vigilant and guide the team in implementing necessary improvements to achieve a high First Pass Yield (FPY).

**Experience requirements**:

- Minimum of 5 years of working experience in the natural/synthetic rubber or medical device industry, specifically in research, product development, and/or manufacturing.
- Strong multitasking abilities with the capacity to lead R&D projects, coordinate technical activities across various departments, such as marketing, manufacturing, finance, outsourcing, procurement, and others.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English. Additional proficiency in languages other than English and Malay or a foreign language would be advantageous.
- Advanced computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Possess advanced-level knowledge of glove processing and formulation expertise. Able to handle practical and fundamental aspects of latex, polymer, and/or product technology.

**Education requirements**:

- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Chemistry, Material Science, Polymer Science, Engineering, Biochemistry, or equivalent.
