**About the Role**:
As our Tech Lead, you will drive our technical and business development efforts in Thailand and the neighbouring countries. You will be the bridge between our innovative solutions and our clients, ensuring that our products not only reach the market but also solve real-world problems for our customers. This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and sales skills to promote our offerings effectively.
- **Main responsibilities**:_
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to technical and non-technical audiences. Tailor communication to suit the audience’s level of technical understanding.
- Support sales by Identifying and pursuing sales opportunities in Thailand and its surrounding markets. Develop and nurture relationships with new and existing customers by understanding their needs and how our solutions can meet them.
- Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the Cloud & AI space. Provide feedback to the product development team on market needs and opportunities.
- Communicate tasks, challenges, and results clearly to technical and non-technical colleagues and customers.
- Provide leadership to our local technical team in Bangkok.
- Mentor and guide junior colleagues, supporting their growth within the team and the projects you collaborate on.
- Nurture our relationship with Google, ensuring strong and productive collaboration.
- **Qualifications**_
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field to ensure a solid foundational understanding of the technical and business aspects of the role.
- 8 years of delivery or technical-sales (presales) experience in the technology industry or SaaS Platform.
- 2 years of experience managing and leading a team.
- Deep familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and architecture, including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, AI and Machine Learning APIs, and Kubernetes Engine. Experience deploying, managing, and leveraging GCP for cloud-based solutions will empower you to design proposals that harness Google Cloud’s capabilities to fulfil client requirements.
- Excellent hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and Terraform.
- Excellent hands-on experience in one or more development languages, such as Python, Go, or Bash.
- Excellent hands-on experience in scripting and configuration of Linux and Windows systems.
- Excellent hands-on experience in API, REST, RPC and microservices design.
- Excellent hands-on experience with technologies like Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Vulnerability Management, Threat Intelligence/Hunting, IAM, Workload Protection, and Encryption.
- Excellent hands-on experience from Public Cloud Managed Service Provider will be a big asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. This skill set is critical for successful product demonstrations, sales pitches, and customer support.
- Fluency in Thai and English, enabling effective communication with our local market and global teams or stakeholders as needed.
