In the APAC region, we already have more than 250 employees located in our country offices throughout the APAC region (Thailand, Vietnam, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, and Australia). Our business activities include trading, project development, operations & maintenance and tailor-made energy solutions.
**About the role**
As a result of our continued growth in the APAC region, we are looking to recruit a PPA Manager APAC (M/F/d) based in South-East Asia, ideally Bangkok, to support our Asian markets in all PPA related topics.

What You Will Do
- You will support the negotiation and closing of bankable long-term PPAs for wind and solar projects as well as battery optimisation contracts (BOA) in APAC
- You will prepare and coordinate of tender processes for BayWa r.e. project’s with utility and traders, as well as the participation in RFP processes from Corporates in the region. Further you will also be the central point for the alignment of cross-market submissions and liaising to multinational corporates in the APAC region.
- You will lead the sales process in terms of the customer origination and selection process with multi-national corporates for long-term PPAs and BOA in the APAC region (in alignment with BayWa r.e. Power Solutions)
- You will provide in-house knowhow on PPA terms, structures and market developments and further develop alternative off-take structures and concepts.
- Additional you will act as the regional central function for processes, templates (such as saleforce adaptation and implementation in the APAC PPA team & oversee PPA handbook implementation)

What You Bring
- University Degree, preferably in an economical or technical discipline
- More than 5 years of relevant professional experience in the fields of PPA negotiations, energy procurement and renewable energy project development
- Experience in PPA negotiations and structuring, modelling of renewable energy business cases and analysis of PPA term sheets and contracts
- Comprehensive understanding of the Asian PPA markets, structures and processes as well as of project development business, ideally in the area of renewable energy
- Strong negotiating skills
- Willingness and ability to work in an interdisciplinary team and in a dynamic and international business environment (intercultural competencies)
- Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis
- Excellent English and ideally German language skills
