Grow Profitably
- Ensure agreed deadlines are achieved with respect to fleet procurement and disposal
- Review performance of equipment with respect to meeting the operational objectives
- Determine and manage equipment requirements to meet customer demands.
- Ensure a clear understanding of financial reports to facilitate the management of the fleet
- Provided timely accurate documents/reports to Operations and Management to facilitate the effective business controls for Fleet Management
- Ensure speedy resolution of equipment or people problems to achieve a positive outcome
- Manage to minimize customer complaint
- Develop and maintain efficient administration and reporting systems.
- Represent the Fleet department to provide professional logistics input.
- Assist with review of Fleet Procedures.
- To arbitrate on behalf of the company in disputes relating to the quality of services provided by external providers.

Deep Customer Relations
- Maintain positive interactions with both internal and external customers to facilitate achievement of objectives and targets for cost and productivity
- Deal effectively and efficiently with queries from both internal and external correspondence eg; Transfers, sales, purchases fleet movements and operating costs.
- Provide support to management in customer presentations and negotiations with respect of new business, regulations, operating methods and requirements.
- Promote relationships to enhance communication, information exchange and understanding

Develop our People
- Facilitate regular, balanced assessment and feedback to Management on Fleet and Maintenance issues such as: equipment performance, supplier performance, and problems, Fleet Department personnel including self.
- Train reports in key responsibilities of Fleet and Maintenance management.
- Maintain own skills to effectively carry out position requirements.
- Set clear direction and objectives for all staff involved in Fleet and maintenance activities.
- Work effectively with all levels of management.
- Encourage and assist employees to maximize their potential. Environment
- Actively seek out opportunities to reduce our carbon footprint through energy savings strategies

**Requirements**:

- Successful completion of secondary education
- Tertiary qualification in business/logistics
- Heavy Diesel Qualification and or Engineering Degree
- Significant experience in Fleet Management
- Has experience handling cross-border heavy road transport (Truck) across Southeast Asia.
- Clear understanding of OH&S standards and regulations
- Sound understanding of technical and maintenance aspects of vehicles and equipment
- Ability to analyze and report data trends
- Ability to prepare reports including use of word processing and spreadsheets.
- Ability to communicate with internal managers and external suppliers on procurement needs
- Understanding of quality systems
- Exposure and experience to Heavy Road Transport/MHE warehousing assets is desirable
