JOB DESCRIPTION:
Area Manager is pivotal in ensuring the successful implementation of the company´s strategies and the achievement of business goals within their designated area within the sub-region. By managing the contracting and yielding teams effectively, fostering a high-performing team and embracing the tandem attention model, the Area Manager significantly contributes towards the overall growth and success of the sub-region.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute regional strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives, driving growth and profitability
- Build high-performing teams, foster a collaborative culture, and provide mentorship and coaching to develop talent
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hotel partners, internal stakeholders, and industry partners
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the market, drive revenue growth, and optimize profitability through effective negotiation and deal-making
- Utilize data and analytics to inform strategic decisions, measure performance, and identify opportunities for improvement
- Navigate a dynamic market environment, drive organizational change, and foster a culture of innovation
- Ensure efficient and effective commercial operations, optimize processes and leverage technology to improve productivity

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in commercial roles with direct contact with clients
- Previous experience in contracting and negotiation with customers
- Demonstrated experience in managing and developing teams, including performance management and coaching.
- Strong understanding of the hotel industry, distribution channels, and revenue management principles.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Tourism Management or similar fields
- Proficient level of English and any additional language would be a plus
