**FUNCTION**
- To achieve sales and consolidated contribution margin budgets for automotive OEM and automotive components segment in SEA.
- To strategically manage automotive OEM and components business and growth development, provide professional guidance, coaching and trainings to G-ECT SEA automotive sales team members to achieve their individual targets.
- To manage sales, set targets, review performance and offer technical trainings to our distributors and agents in SEA countries so that they generate sustainable growth and achieve their targets.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Contribute to Strategic Roadmap development and ensure implementation of respective strategic growth plans and implementation actions for Automotive OEM and Components in SEA countries.
- Develop and implement sales strategy for Automotive OEM and Components SEA through clear leadership, target-setting, follow-up, and the fostering a performance culture in the organization
- Prepare, negotiate, and conclude business contracts, RFQ, Tenders to accelerate sales growth.
- Day-to-day continuous Distributor and Agent management incl. business partner due diligence, contracting, training and development as well as performance monitoring for GI in SEA.
- As G-ECT’s Surface Treatment representative for SEA actively contribute to Team Automotive Asia (TAA) in common Automotive projects, trade exhibitions as well as sustainability initiatives.
- Ensure all sales activities, sales risk and growth pipeline is managed/captured in Salesforce.
- Provide selling price guidance, margin expectations, coach on value-selling approach and authorize special selling prices/promotion offers in accordance with authorization matrix.
- Prepare sales and consolidated contribution margin budgets and implement action plans to ensure achievement of respective plans.
- Ensure continuous commercial guidance/coaching and technical training to Automotive sales team in SEA; incl. assigning trainings, development plans, regular review and feedback sessions.
- Gather market intelligence (customer needs, industry trends / drivers, USP), share findings w/ G-ECT Business Management and implement value and process solution selling concepts in SEA
- Contribute to global and regional G-ECT projects and take over other new tasks and initiatives as required by the Managing Director SEA and General Management G-ECT Thailand.
- Ensure sales activities are in line and comply with corporate governance, safety and compliance policies and procedures of BASF Chemetall as well as country specific law and regulation.
