**Industrial Sales Representative**: Salinas, California, United States
- We are looking for an ambitious Sales Professionals to develop new opportunities in our key markets — including energy, infrastructure, aerospace & defense, oil & gas, and more. As a BDR, your role will be to create new business relationships by contacting and communicating with potential customers. This position requires strong sales and business development skills to acquire new clients and support our existing clients. Industry knowledge is also a plus._
- Qualifications / Skills:_
- _ 2-3 years of industrial sales experience a plus_
- _ Fearless approach to calling on new business clients and setting meetings_
- _ Industry knowledge of oil & gas, energy, infrastructure _and/or_ experience interacting and selling into Maintenance Managers, Project Managers, and Safety Managers_
- _ Well spoken, strong phone presence_
- _ Able to work both independently and within a team_
- _ Self-motivated, hardworking and reliable_
- _ Experience with Microsoft Office_
- _ Excellent written and communications skills; effective listener_
- _ Able to build instant rapport and understand customers’ needs_
- _ Effective time management, multi-tasking skills, and organizational skills_
- _ Access to your own laptop and phone_
- _ Above all else - hungry, humble and smart. Self-motivated and can get passionate about helping companies build safer and faster with our tools_
- Responsibilities include:_
- _ Make it a priority to be client facing 4-5 days a week_
- _ Meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly quotas_
- _ Research and identify new business opportunities, qualifying new leads, following-up_
- _ Work closely with Account Executives to build a pipeline for HYTORC products_
- _ Develop clients and meetings through cold calling and product demonstration_
- _ Create sales opportunities within our target market (i.e. new accounts and buyers)_
- _ Set product/technology demonstration appointments for Account Executives_
- _ Track and manage prospects and maintain leads in CRM system_
- _ Pass over qualified leads and appointments to Account Executives_
- _ Provide valuable market feedback to continue to drive HYTORC’s business development strategy_

At HYTORC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range of total compensation is $50,000 to $150,000._
