Bangkok - Business Development Manager

**BANGKOK**
**THE OPPORTUNITY**
**_Business planning and implementation:_**
- Support the practice groups in Southeast Asia in developing and implementing their respective strategic business development plans
- Work with the Southeast Asia Business Development team to organise and attend regular practice group meetings to provide updates on key Business Development activity and provide guidance to partners and associates on future Business Development initiatives
- Work with HSF regional and global Business Development teams to help implement relevant aspects of sector and client-focused Business Development initiatives
- Work with the Southeast Asia Business Development team to drive other Business Development projects within Southeast Asia as appropriate, working closely with the wider HSF regional and global Business Development teams
**_ Pitches, proposals and tender submissions:_**
- Manage the preparation of pitches and proposals, working with partners and legal teams on pitch strategy and approach
- Help develop strong key selling messages for the practice, to be deployed consistently in pitches and submissions
- Monitor the updating and maintaining of pitch support material for the practice group including credentials, pitch templates and CVs
**_ Client relationships:_**
- Undertake research and analysis as required in relation to existing key clients and in order to identify new targets/opportunities
- Support the firm's global Client Listening programme, including helping to identify opportunities to collect feedback
**_ Reputation, brand and profile:_**
- Help prepare legal directory and award submissions for practice groups in Southeast Asia as required. Act as a contact point for directory researchers.
- Ensure appropriate use of the HSF brand and visual identity in all externally facing materials
- Liaise with lawyers on articles for external publications and content for client materials (including e-bulletins, seminars and legal briefings)
- Work with the global and Asia Business Development tam to manage the HSF website, including general updates (i.e. changes to personnel details, amendments to standard text) as well as ensuring topical/thought leadership content is regularly updated
**SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- Appropriate undergraduate/postgraduate degree qualification(s)
- At least four years' relevant professional experience
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a broader team
- Confidence in dealing with partners and senior stakeholders
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage workload under pressure
- High degree of attention to detail
- Proven ability to establish professional credibility
- Excellent service delivery skills and high level of responsiveness
