**Job Overview**

As the Reservation Manager, your primary responsibility is to effectively manage the daily operations of the Reservation (Sales) team by optimizing the use of resources. In this role, you will be expected to set ambitious sales and customer service targets, and ensure that they are consistently met.

Additionally, you will need to identify areas of improvement or development and work collaboratively with the Marketing, Operations, and Business teams, as well as third-party stakeholders to achieve the goals. You will also play an important role in the recruitment and training of new staff members.

As the Manager, you will be responsible for supervising both the GIT team (Group Inclusive Tour) and FIT team (Free Independent Traveler), ensuring they deliver exceptional customer service and efficiently close sales.

Overseeing both the GIT and FIT teams, the following are your expected responsibilities:

- Improve the effectiveness of outbound sales calls, you will be responsible for adjusting the current process to better target potential customers and clients with the goal of gathering valuable information and selling services. Specifically, you will focus on two areas:
a. GIT: Identifying opportunities to secure incentive groups from corporate clients.
b. FIT: Acquiring new corporate accounts with better credit-to-margin ratios.
- Managing resources to increase the number of outbound sales calls made by the team.
- Work closely with the Direct Sales and Operations team to coordinate client visits and secure new accounts.
- Ensuring that agents have a comprehensive understanding of the products offered to effectively answer customer inquiries.
- Implementing business strategy initiatives set forth by the board through effective resource planning and goal setting.
- Improving team performance by
a. Setting and meeting performance targets for speed, efficiency, sales, and quality,
b. Improving work conditions, boosting staff morale,
c. Providing technical development opportunities,
d. Conducting regular needs assessments, performance reviews, and cost/benefit analyses.
- Collaborate with HR to:
a. Hire team members and establish a bench team to replace departing members.
b. Plan staffing and implement shifts to meet demand outside normal office hours.
- Ensure all relevant communications, records, and data are accurately updated and recorded.
- Represent the Reservation team in meetings and provide information as requested, such as the order pipeline.

- Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field.
- **Minimum of 5 years of experience in the hospitality or travel industry.**:

- Computer literacy. Proficient in reservation software and systems is a plus.
- Flexibility to work non-standard hours, including weekends and holidays, when needed.
- Good command of English both written and spoken.
- Able to travel oversea occasionally.
