**YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- This is an individual contributor role reporting to Head of Industry Market Management, CASE & Construction. The role can be undertaken from any country across Brenntag Asia (excluding China).
- The scope of the role is to drive top line growth by managing customer relationships (including regional key accounts) and sales execution across the entire focus industry within region.
- Develop and manage the industry specific product portfolio and manage the key supplier relationships. you will play a critical role in optimizing profitability by assisting the project leader in MWB -Adhesives in customers’ project management and identifying valuable suppliers to support the business plan.
**Key activities and responsibilities**
- Establish and subsequently manage the technical capabilities of Adhesives in the region.
- Define market opportunities, assist in developing and managing CRM projects.
- Manage new product introductions.
- Provide technical trainings internally and externally.
- Value added from Brenntag’s service and knowledge.
As part of this role, key activities will be in the area or product management, identifying market trends and managing new product introductions, developing market know-how and strategies for the specified industry, identifying opportunities across the region and being a general all-rounder with sound working knowledge in the defined sub-industry.
As part of this Expression of Interest please submit a brief one page on what you feel you can bring to the role including your experience and skill set in any of the noted sub-industries of Coatings, Construction, Ink and Adhesives and anything you think will see you well placed to help shape and build the Brenntag footprint in these markets for the future.
**Role purpose**:
As part of the Brenntag APAC Material Science Team, you will play a critical role in optimizing profitability by driving product management and marketing for industry-specific products within APAC region.
Key activities and responsibilities
- Drive Sales by managing accounts and relationships for A+B customers including regional key accounts.
- Lead Field Sales teams across areas including motivation/coaching and definition of deployment model
- Develop business plans and drive implementation.
- Leverage Application development management to drive basket sales.
**YOUR PROFILE**:
- Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in related field and at least 10 years of professional experiences in specialty chemical or chemical distribution
- Highly motivated, solution-oriented, pragmatic, flexible and self-driven.
- A team player, possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills who enjoys working in interdisciplinary teams.
- Like to engage in new projects and feel comfortable in an energy-laden environment.
- Have an excellent command of the English language (spoken and written) to match the international character of the role.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in specialty chemical or chemical distribution sector.
- Additional technical experience in the related fields of Adhesive and you are able to develop the technical capabilities and manage the technical projects/CRM projects, conversion of technical projects to commercial successes.
