**The Opportunity**:
As the Head of Talent Acquisition, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Agoda's talent acquisition function and contributing to our overall success. In this role you will work directly with the Chief People Officer, the people leadership team, and senior stakeholders across Agoda (CEO, CTO, CFO etc). You will play a crucial role in supporting our mission to build a high-performing, diverse, and innovative workforce.
**In this Role, you'll get to**:
- Foster a high-performance culture, motivate team members, and promote professional development. Mentor the TA leadership team to set goals and define performance metrics. Coach team members to ensure continuous improvement and individual growth.
- Lead a large team (80+ professionals) and drive large-scale projects related to talent acquisition, including process improvements, technology implementation, and diversity initiatives. Take a hands-on approach when required, ensuring efficient and effective execution of projects.
- Utilize data-driven insights and metrics to assess the effectiveness of talent acquisition strategies and make data-informed decisions. Develop and maintain recruitment analytics dashboards to track key performance indicators, recruitment costs, and time-to-fill metrics
- Be an active member of the People Leadership Team, co-leading strategy and operational excellence across the end-to-end people processes, active mentor to People Team professionals, lead cross function projects and represent Agoda people principles.
- Be a Talent Partner and Advisor to the business, proactively conduct talent mapping, perform gap analysis, and develop talent pools. Stay up to date with market trends and provide insights to drive effective talent acquisition strategies.
**What you'll Need to Succeed**:
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of leading and managing large teams of talent acquisition professionals and leaders.
- Strong knowledge of talent acquisition best practices, recruitment strategies, and industry trends.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, data-driven, and highly collaborative environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability backed with excellent data sense
- Long-term strategic thinking and ability to cope well with ambiguity and change in a dynamic environment while bringing structure that supports execution
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to drive multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels, with global teams and stakeholders across different locations and time zones.
- Leverage a diverse business, cultural contexts and sensitivities
- Strong understanding of the talent landscape and regulations within APAC is a plus
