**Responsibilities**

**Strategy**:

- Assist with development and periodic review of business and product development strategies and planning.
- Preparation of short, medium and long-term business plans including capital investment evaluation and justification.
- Evaluating potential products and associated business opportunities by assessing markets and demand, estimating development and production costs, revenue and financing projections. Executing business strategies and plans to deliver products to the established targets.

**Market Analysis**:

- Research potential markets and verify opportunities through customer engagement.
- Analyse and quantify risks and opportunities, prepare revenue forecasts and document recommendations.

**Business Development**:

- Assist in the identification of new clients/customers.
- Keep abreast of market and industry developments, develop and use personal network to identify and recommend business opportunities.

**Product Development and Evaluation**:

- Engage and understand the technical development process.
- Assist in determining and optimizing production processes and evaluating the costs effectiveness.
- Identify and evaluate possible business partners and engage.
- Prepare development and production cost and schedule estimates and document recommendations.

**Qualifications**
- Degree in Engineering or technical discipline.
- Understanding of Industrial manufacturing.
- Understanding of Business Administration (preferably MBA).
- Experience of Contracts and their administration.
- At least 7 years' experience in a related industry with at least 3 years management experience.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Strong analytical / critical thinking ability.
- Ability to work outside of a predetermined process with mínimal supervision.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to clearly record and document deliverables.
- Ability to work in a team and influence outcomes.
- Inquisitive and interested in research/learning.
