**Job description**:
***As a Solar System Designer, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for commercial and industrial projects. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to develop cost-effective and efficient solar solutions which meet project requirements and regulatory standards.
- Conduct site assessments to evaluate solar potential, shading analysis, and structural considerations.
- Design solar PV systems using industry-standard software tools, considering factors such as system size, orientation, tilt angle, and electrical layout.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with local regulations and building codes.
- Provide technical support and guidance during project implementation, including coordination with installation teams and subcontractors.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to solar energy systems.
- Participate in project meetings, client presentations, and post-installation reviews to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or any other related field.
- Proven experience in solar system design with a minimum of 2-3 years in the solar industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) and solar design tools (e.g., PVsyst, Helioscope, Aurora).
- Strong understanding of solar photovoltaic technology, electrical systems, and construction principles.
- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes related to solar PV installations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to optimize system performance and efficiency.
- Effective English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and quality in design work.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
