**Job Description**:
Executes and delivers IT solutions through managing project activities. Responsibilities cover Engagement Sales hand-off through
final invoicing. Manages engagements or significant components of very large engagements. Defines client needs, developing
proposals and overseeing the implementation of the complete project solution. Serves as first level of management contact on
customer issues. Manages a field consulting team and is responsible for quantity and quality of work performed based on
information provided from field managers, peers and reporting.
**What You'll Do**:
Responsible for project delivery, resources, timelines, schedules,
financials and client satisfaction. Define customer’s business
solution. Proactively manage scope and scope changes. Manage
delivery issues and risks and create mitigation strategies. Manage all
project administration activities (time recording, invoicing, status
reporting, project reviews, resource management) on a timely basis.
Escalate all obstacles that cannot be dealt with promptly that could
result in delays, budget overrun or quality issues.
Lead at least one virtual team or workgroup. Develop internal work
aids and implementation methodologies for at least one area. Work
with, and act as main Services contact for, other organizations in
QAD (Product Management, Support, etc.) relating to at least one
area. Ensure project documentation is stored in QAD project
repositories. Create training and knowledge transfer to the Services
organization.
Manage all personnel activities of staff. Coordinate resource
requirements with Staffing Manager and other unit managers.
Develop and facilitate execution of individual development plans,
evaluate performance and conduct reviews. Submit monthly status
reports to Director outlining team: Issues, Changes,
Certification/Plans, Activities (current/planned), Capabilities (high
level skills).
Participate in direct customer and sales support as necessary. Develop
Service proposals and assist Sales in negotiations with customers.
Actively position software and services with client.
**Qualifications**:
Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain/manufacturing, logistics, marketing or computer science.
Advanced degree desirable. PMP certification or one QAD industry certification and external certification preferred.
Minimum 7-10 years in product support and consulting environment, with minimum 1-2 years in project manager
role. Team leadership/management experience required.
