Network Technical Manager

Our client is a rapidly growing company founded in Singapore in 2019. They specialize in sovereign cloud solutions, catering to sensitive industries such as government and finance. Their comprehensive range of services includes public and private cloud solutions, shared hosting, and dedicated server offerings across various sectors. As a high-potential player in the sovereign cloud sector, They are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Technical Manager to join their subsidiary in Laos.

The Network Technical Manager will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing their data center, network, and security infrastructure for the subsidiary in Laos. This role will involve overseeing the network operations, datacenter administration, and security systems. The manager will lead a team responsible for ensuring the availability, stability, and security of the network infrastructure. This position reports to the Chief Technical Officer.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the network infrastructure team in Laos.
- Plan and implement network architecture, ensuring high availability, scalability, and
- security.
- Oversee the administration and maintenance of the datacenter infrastructure.
- Ensure the availability and performance of network resources, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Implement and maintain dynamic routing protocols, optimizing network traffic and performance.
- Design and implement security policies and measures to protect the network infrastructure from potential threats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network infrastructure with other systems.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Conduct regular audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and address security risks.
- Manage relationships with vendors and third-party contractors, ensuring the procurement of quality network and security products and services.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in networking, data center administration, and security.

**Requirements**:

- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher (Bac+5) in Information Technology, Networks/Telecoms, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a network engineer, preferably in the telecom/data center/cloud computing industry (not biased DevOps)
- Strong experience in data center administration, network infrastructure design, and implementation.
- Proficiency in network administration using Cisco, Vyos, Mikrotik, and Fortinet equipment.
- Expertise in firewall technology, especially Fortinet.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and performance optimization tools.
- Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and virtualization technologies is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Relevant network certifications (e.g., CCNP, JNCIP) are preferred.
- Strong adaptability and flexibility.
- Fluent in English.
- Thailand Nationality.
