With an efficient sales strategy, Grundfos is now looking for a dedicated Area Sales Manager to develop a great team for our South Asia market. You will be heading a team of four highly skilled salespeople across the region. You will be joining a growth area and taking on an international leadership position. We are looking for highly motivated, result-oriented professionals for the following positions to be part of our growing team in Bangkok, Thailand.

The Sales Manager’s primary responsibility is to guide the external Industry sales team towards delivering on sales growth and profitability targets. The Sales Manager is responsible for their own Department’s Performance P/L. The Sales Manager is accountable for building and maintaining positive relationships with the Industry customers in the Area of responsibility.

The Sales Manager is accountable for ensuring effective and efficient collaboration between all functional areas on a local level ensuring that all support towards the same aligned goals for the business. The Sales Manager must ensure employee motivation and a sense of belonging to ONE company.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

- Select, lead, guide, evaluate and develop a team of employees to ensure that the department achieves the business goals.
- Develop and implement annual budget and plan for assigned territory market, including preparing sales forecast, allocating sales targets to employees, developing expense budget and adjusting sales plans to meet changing markets and good conditions in order to achieve annual sales targets, goals and plans.
- Implement sales policies, procedures and systems to ensure compliance with corporate policies and provide working guidelines for the sales team.
- Create and maintain good relationships with customers, dealers, design institutes, consulting firms and authorities.
- Monitor account receivable balance on a monthly basis, follow up with employees on outstanding balances and ensure that customers pay as per terms in order to aid monitor cash flow and reduce potential bad debts.
- Have regular performance coaching meetings with team members to ensure that we have the desired behaviour in developing customers & sales
- Support Facetime (activities with customers) and Pipeline Management (ensuring opportunities for future sales) within their teams, including follow-up on activities and opportunities in the global CRM tool.
- Ensure that the customer categorization and prioritization reflect the sales strategy of the company
- Other assignments by the line manager

You are an inspirational relationship builder and navigate effortlessly in multifaceted sales organizations. You build robust results on a collaborative mindset.

We will be looking for a person with a proven history of relevant sales results, who knows the service industry from the inside out.

We imagine that you:

- Degree in business or engineering combined with at least 7-10 years of relevant experience from a large international company working in a similar role.
- Experience from Grundfos working in a Sales Manager role - particularly with Industry customers.
- Experience with working people across different countries and virtually.
