Purchasing Manager (Based in Chonburi)

Responsibilities:

  • Take full responsibility for procuring injection-molding raw materials for the new factory in Thailand, ensuring material quality and supply stability to meet production needs.
  • Manage relationships with outsourcing factories, oversee subcontracted processing, and ensure compliance with quality and delivery requirements.
  • Build and lead an efficient purchasing team; set goals, develop purchasing plans, and improve overall procurement effectiveness.
  • Continuously optimize procurement processes, reduce costs, and increase purchasing efficiency.
  • Monitor market trends and adjust purchasing strategies in response to raw material price fluctuations.
  • Develop and manage supplier resources, oversee purchase orders, and control inventory, including supplier development, evaluation, selection, and ongoing management.
  • Coordinate and resolve issues arising during the procurement process to ensure uninterrupted production.

Qualifications:

  • In-depth understanding of procurement processes and standards for injection-molding raw materials (ABS, PC, PP, Nylon), electronic part.
  • Experience working with outsourcing factories, including knowledge of subcontracting procedures and quality control.
  • Minimum 5 years of procurement experience in related industries, with at least 2 years in a managerial or similar leadership role.
  • Proven experience leading a procurement team, with strong team management and motivation skills.
  • Proficiency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and teamwork, with the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
  • Good analytical and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to quickly resolve procurement-related issues.
