Within the Product team at Agoda, ideas come alive. We envision innovative ways to improve our customer's experience or drive Agoda's business performance. The Connectivity team is part of Product organization, and it has the rewarding responsibility to take ownership in all respects as we discover and develop partnerships that make huge contributions. We are simultaneously involved in the technical and operational ownership of select strategic connectivity partner accounts, including global hotel chain brands. Our team is comprised of professionals from multiple cultures and cultivates an environment of learning that strengthens each team member while bringing travelers closer to all people.

The Opportunity:

• Leadership: Drive a team of highly motived Connectivity Managers based in the Chain
• Strategy: Set the strategy for managing our technical partnerships with global hotel chains and hospitality platforms
• Growth: Work with key internal and external stakeholders to identify the next big thing in accommodation supply technology
• Experimentation: Innovative testing to identify novel approaches to drive performance through data driven decision-making
• Technical Insight: Drive innovation through product investment in our connectivity platforms

Location: This role will be based in our Shanghai office
In this Role, you'll get to:

• Lead a team driving technical account performance, and strategy
• Find ways to improve team efficiency across the connectivity team and related departments
• Provide recommendations and guidelines to maximize business performance
• Keep a pulse on new product and service launches, as well as industry products
• Develop a deep understanding of our connectivity capabilities and ways to improve our platform

What you'll Need to Succeed:

• Fluent in English and Mandarin with strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Min. 8+ years' experience working in a technical role, preferably in the hospitality connectivity space
• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Strong people management experience and commercial acumen
• Excellent analytical and statistical analysis skills to extract insights and recommendations
• Ability to present compelling stories to internal and external
• Ability to work under pressure in a competitive industry/rapidly changing environment
• Excellent communication & presentation skills and strong emotional intelligence
• Understanding of agile working methodology
• Experience working with data transfer via API's

It's Great if you have:

• Exposure to one or more data analysis packages or databases (e.g., SAS, R, SPSS, Python, VBA, SQL, Tableau
• Consumer experience
• Travel technology experience, with a preference for hospitality systems (CRS/PMS/GDS/Channel Manager)
