Position Objective

To lead, supervise, and ensure the efficiency of the accounts receivable and payable operations (AR/AP Operations), including oversight of the Sub-Ledger processes. The Accounting Operation Manager is responsible for maintaining accounting data accuracy and compliance with both local and company-wide accounting standards.

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the AP and AR teams through effective supervision and coordination with the AP and AR Supervisors.
  • Oversee sub-ledger data quality and ensure accurate reconciliation between sub-ledgers (AR/AP) and the general ledger (GL).
  • Monitor and ensure proper account classifications and data accuracy in financial records.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency and risk control within AR/AP processes.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
  • Plan, develop, and evaluate the performance of the AR/AP team to enhance team capability and productivity.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and at least 2 years in AR/AP team management or equivalent supervisory role.

Specific Skills:

  • Strong knowledge and experience in AR/AP operations.
  • Skilled in process improvement and accounting controls related to AR/AP.

General Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software, especially NAV or similar ERP systems.
