Job Overview:

As a Channel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for expanding our global HR and payroll solutions through strategic partnerships and channel relationships. This role focuses on identifying, recruiting, and nurturing channel partners to drive indirect sales and market expansion. You will work closely with internal teams to develop co-branded initiatives, manage partner performance, and ensure that our channel strategy aligns with overall business goals. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in channel sales, strong relationship management skills, and a deep understanding of the HR technology or SaaS industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Channel Partnership Development:

  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners and resellers to expand the company's market reach.

  • Develop and implement strategies to build and sustain long-term relationships with channel partners.
  • Partner Enablement and Training:

  • Collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver comprehensive training programs for partners on the company's HR and payroll solutions.

  • Provide ongoing support and resources to ensure partner success and effective product positioning.
  • Sales & Marketing Collaboration:

  • Work with the marketing team to create co-branded campaigns, promotional materials, and joint sales initiatives.

  • Assist partners in executing local marketing and lead-generation activities to boost pipeline growth.
  • Performance Management:

  • Monitor and evaluate partner performance, setting clear targets and KPIs.

  • Regularly review partner sales data, forecast trends, and identify areas for improvement to meet revenue targets.
  • Strategic Planning & Execution:

  • Develop and execute channel sales strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives.

  • Stay updated on market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities within the HR technology and payroll sectors.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (sales, product, customer success) to ensure smooth handoffs and a seamless customer experience.

  • Provide feedback from channel partners to help inform product development and strategic initiatives.
  • Relationship Management:

  • Maintain strong, proactive communication with partners and key stakeholders to address any issues and optimize channel performance.

  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to promote our channel program.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in channel sales, partner management, or business development, preferably within HR technology, SaaS, or related fields.

  • Proven track record of successfully recruiting and managing channel partners, and driving revenue through indirect sales channels.
  • Industry Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with global HR and payroll solutions, including an understanding of market dynamics and customer needs in the HR technology space.

  • Experience with building and executing co-branded sales and marketing initiatives is a plus.
  • Skills:

  • Exceptional relationship management, communication, and negotiation skills.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities with a results-driven mindset.
  • Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is advantageous.
