Job Summary

The Sales Engineer is responsible for sales and commercial activities across domestic market. Work with senior sales engineers and operations to qualify leads, prepare proposals, coordinate demos and site visits, and maintain accurate sales documentation. Clear growth path toward account ownership.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Generate revenue to achieve sales targets for the responsible area.

  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.

  • Conduct technical sales presentations and solution proposals.

  • Keep CRM records current (contacts, activities, pipeline, forecasts).

Client Relationship Management

  • Join client calls and site visits; take minutes and track actions.
  • Collect technical requirements using company templates; hand off to engineering/ops.
  • Coordinate demos, proposal submissions, and tenders to deadline.
  • Follow up after sales on POs, delivery status, and client feedback.

Technical Expertise & Solution Delivery

  • Convert customer needs into basic technical checklists and scope summaries.
  • Draft sales and technical proposal (company profile, scope, exclusions, T&Cs).
  • Compile certifications, safety records, references, and HSSE forms.

  • Track domestic competitor offerings and pricing signals.

  • Stay updated with market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related fields.

  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in the inspection industry, Oil and Gas sector or a relevant industry in Asia Market.

  • Interest in inspection/NDT, energy, petrochemical, or industrial services is a plus.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.

  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Fluency in both Thai and English at a professional level.

  • Ability to travel within the country and aboard.

  • Strong mindset, proactive attitude, and ability to work under pressure.
