COUNTRY SALES ENGINEER - Vietnam

Your Mission:

  1. Take ownership of the Vietnamese market while being based in Thailand
  2. Work closely with local agents and partners in Vietnam, ensuring communication in the local language and bridging cultural/business expectations
  3. Actively engage in consultative selling, focusing on understanding the customer's business case, operational challenges, and ROI objectives
  4. Drive project sales in alignment with our structured consultative selling cycle & methodology, from discovery to value-based proposal and closing
  5. Develop and deepen relationships with key and potential customers in Vietnam's target industries
  6. Conduct regular on-site visits to Vietnam, acting as a trusted advisor rather than just a vendor
  7. Coordinate technical and commercial project clarifications, ensuring alignment with customer expectations
  8. Create and present compelling presentations, business cases, solution proposals, and financial value arguments
  9. Lead negotiations and follow through on project execution with consistency
  10. Monitor market trends and competitor activity, providing insights to strengthen our market strategy
  11. Represent AZO at trade fairs, technology events, and customer workshops in Vietnam and the region

The Value You Bring:

  • A completed technical degree or comparable training in mechanical, process, industrial, electrical engineering, automation, or mechatronics
  • Initial experience in consultative, value-based selling of technical solutions
  • Native Vietnamese or Fluent in Vietnamese and English (both written and spoken); Thai or other regional languages are a plus
  • A strong ability to work with and guide local partners/agents to ensure transparency and success
  • Eager to travel within Vietnam and Southeast Asia, with Thailand as your base
  • Structured, customer-centric approach with excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Proven relationship-building capabilities and cultural adaptability
  • A confident, agile, and resilient personality with a collaborative mindset
  • Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with SAP and CRM systems is advantageous
  • Basic knowledge of contract law and project-based sales is desirable
