Tenex Partners is assisting our global client in the flavor industry is seeking an experienced
Head of Sales
,
based in Bangkok
, to lead commercial growth across Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar (CLMT region).

Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Sales Planning & Market Development

  • Develop and execute country-specific sales strategies for the CLMT markets.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive insights to identify growth opportunities.
  • Set clear, measurable sales targets aligned with regional and global objectives.
  • Drive proactive pipeline development and expand into new customer segments.

2. Revenue Growth & Business Expansion

  • Deliver sustainable revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities.
  • Strengthen relationships with key accounts and distributors across the region.
  • Partner with Business Units and Market Segment Managers to create effective sales campaigns and promotions.
  • Ensure achievement of sales and profitability targets.

3. Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with customers in CLMT markets.
  • Conduct regular client visits to assess needs, provide solutions, and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for resolving customer issues.
  • Position the company as a trusted partner for innovation and value creation.

4. Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing regional sales team.
  • Provide both technical and disciplinary leadership, including hiring, performance assessments, and development planning.
  • Offer ongoing coaching, performance reviews, and training opportunities.
  • Foster a collaborative, motivated, and results-oriented sales culture.

5. Sales Operations & Reporting

  • Oversee sales operations such as budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
  • Track sales KPIs and adapt strategies as needed.
  • Prepare timely and accurate reports on sales performance, market developments, and competitive activities.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, internal standards, and regional regulations.

6. Digital & Process Excellence

  • Lead digital transformation initiatives to enhance sales processes and customer engagement.
  • Utilize CRM and digital tools to improve efficiency, transparency, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Continuously optimize sales processes, structures, and information flow across markets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive B2B sales experience in the food, beverage, or ingredients industry, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of the CLMT markets and regional business environment.
  • Proven track record in driving revenue growth and leading diverse, cross-cultural sales teams.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic thinking with strong analytical and commercial capabilities.
  • Proficiency in English; Thai language skills are an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel regionally as required.
